The View from My Place – “Saddlebags”

So, I said, “That’s what I want my relationship with You to be like, Lord, my leather saddlebags: durable, attractive and authentic. No artificial, man-made materials and clearly the work of Your hands.”

Then I realized that’s exactly what He is doing.

“For we are *His* workmanship, created [by Him] in Christ Jesus…” (Ephesians 2:10). “For it is *God* who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13). “It is because of *Him* that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption” (1 Corinthians 1:30).

So, upon further consideration, I now say, “Thank You, Lord for Your exquisite craftsmanship and please continue what You have started.”
