When It Just Doesn’t Add Up

May 4, 2015 By Dan Baty Leave a Comment

Simply Grateful.  I don’t have it all figured out, Lord. I have my questions, unresolved matters, disappointments and concerns just like anybody else. And despite how well I think I know You, I certainly don’t have You all figured out. But I AM learning to trust You more. And when I stop and think about it, that’s pretty much all I really need to know. “But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit” (Jeremiah 17:7-8).
