“The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them; but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he knows their day is coming” (Psalm 37:12-13). The Lord doesn’t laugh because people who perpetrate evil are funny. He “laughs” because their actions can never thwart His purposes and a day is coming when He will make all things new and right.
Sometimes to maintain our emotional, mental and spiritual health, we need to take a step back from distressing over the craziness of the world and laugh with Him.
