John 1:1-14 (NIV) 1  In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. …  In him was life, and that life was the light of men  … to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God

We don’t have to wonder if there is a God.

  • The Word was God.
  • Through Him, all things were made.
  • The world was made through Him.
  • The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.
  • Hebrews 1:1-3 (NIV) 1 In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2  but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son… through whom he made the universe. 3  The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. “

We don’t have to wear ourselves out looking for the meaning of life.

  • In Him there is life, and that life is the light of men.
  • The yearning of our souls is for connection with our Creator.
  • The Scriptures instruct us to neither boast about nor be intimidated by human wisdom, might or riches. Don’t put your faith in how wise you are, how smart you are or how educated you are.  Don’t put your faith in how powerful you are relative to other people.  Don’t put your faith in how much you have materially or financially, but instead put your confidence in what the Lord has revealed to You about Himself.
  • Is Jesus Enough? Based on 37 years of varied experiences in pastoral ministry, my testimony is He is infinitely more than enough.
  • Last week (April 12th) Monday Morning Boost
  • A word to those of us seeking to go deeper with Jesus: Keep asking, seeking and knocking.  He is doing it.
  • In Him there is life and that life was the light of men.

There isn’t a single person on earth who is ineligible for inclusion in the kingdom of God.

  • To all who received Him, He gave the right.
