Text:  Our glorious text today is from the book of Numbers, chapter 9:15-23

The tabernacle was the precursor of the temple.  It was the portable dwelling place of God as the Israelites journeyed to the Promised Land and only Moses could enter it. The cloud was the glory and presence of the Lord.  The cloud is now in each of our hearts.  In Galatians 5:16 We are exhorted to walk by the Spirit’s leading.

Camp where the Lord you.  Not in restlessness.  Not in fear.  Camp here in peace.  Camp here with faith in Me.  Camp here in joy.  Camp here with praise.  Because God’s faithfulness is on display right here.  Right Now and Forever

    [Reference to “Monday Morning Boost”]

Do you believe that in your present situation, in the place where you are presently camped, whatever it is, God’s faithfulness is on display? If not, don’t worry about it.  Don’t worry about anything – including how much You are trusting in the Lord’s faithfulness.  Instead, just trust in Him to help You trust in His faithfulness.

Sometimes we think a mature faith in Christ is like playing poker, dependent upon our skill.  Dependent upon how we play our hand.  Whether we are praying the right kind of prayer.  Meditating on the proper verses.  Regularly getting fellowship.  Even how much time we are spending with the Lord.  We do not trust in our own faithfulness but in the Lords.

But the real blessing is in trusting in the Master who can make any hand a winner.

You got a weak hand.  In Him there is strength. You got a doubtful hand.  In Him there is hope. You misplayed a hand.  In Him there is redemption.

The Scripture admonishes us to not trust in our own wisdom, our own might, or our own riches.  But that is also an invitation to peace, because if I am not trusting in my own wisdom.  If I am not trusting in my own might, If I am not trusting in my own riches, I don’t have to fear the limitations of them.  In other words,

    • I don’t have to worry about not having enough wisdom. I can rely on the One who does know what to do.
    • I don’t have to worry about having enough power, energy, or desire. I can trust in the One who’s might is unlimited.
    • I don’t have to worry about not having enough money. I can trust in the one whose resources are unlimited.

Whatever we have or don’t have, it’s never because the Lord doesn’t have enough wisdom, might or resources to bail us out.  It is because His faithfulness is on display right here, right now and forever.
